Hi, I've got a p320 that started life as an x full. It now has an AXG grip module. I'm seeing a ton of holsters for the standard grip module, a few for the x full, but the AXG holsters I'm finding are for the carry. I know the frames are slightly different. Will an AXG grip module with a full size slide fit in a standard holster, and does it safely protect the trigger?

I'm not a definitive authority here, but let me try. To the best of my knowledge, all the AXG frames are in the Carry configuration, but they aren't significantly different in size from the regular X-Carry frames.

If I'm reading you right, you have a Full-size X-type upper, which you put on a Carry-size AXG frame. The barrel length is what dictates your holster size. Whatever holster that fit your Full-size in the polymer X frame should also fit it in the AXG frame.

I'm a little confused, though, by your mention of "AXG holster," being that AXG frames are pretty much the same size as the polymer X frames, to the best of my knowledge. I could be wrong, and somebody will probably come along and correct me.
