I've got a few nice range bags that are medium/large for 2-3+ guns but I'm looking for something small I could keep in the car for when I feel like randomly stopping at the range with my carry gun at the time. Basically, I'd keep some eyes/ears, ammo, mags and a few cleaning items/tools in there for one gun. The gun would only go in there when I go into the range. When I leave, it's back on my hip.

I've been thinking one of these sling type bags:

Any other good ones out there to consider?

Thanks for any input.

Mine, for a long time, was a toiletry bag from a luggage set, pretty much just 1 roughly 15x5 footprint top-zip, single compartment bag that held a sufficient amount & was pretty inconspicuous.

For a small bag, I use the Specops Brand All Purpose Bag. 55 bucks. Black is out of stock but Coyote is available.

Thanks for the great suggestions. That Specops bag looks perfect. I'd prefer black though so maybe I can find one.

Along the lines if the bag you posted, take a look at the Chrome Mini Kadet.

While I have plenty of sling bags, range bags/gear etc. I actually kind of like the small Lowes tool bags. They are always on sale for dirt cheap and the perfect size for lots of stuff and make a great small range bag that is about a low profile as you will get this side of a million moms march bag. Smile.

I have a bunch of these bags for everything from first aid kits, to airgun pellets to low profile range or travel bags.

No need to buy Chinese shit.

This company in Texas makes bags out of 1000d Cordura, and they are dirt cheap.

Their two gun case is 11” x 7” x 4”, and holds exactly what you mentioned (I had one, that’s what I carried in it)

For quick range trips with a couple of handguns, I have one similar to this and really like it. https://store.springfield-armo...rossed-cannons-logo/

I got it for free as a promo from Springfield Armory when I bought my 1911. It's well made and holds everything I need for a three handgun or less range trip. It may be one of my favorite and most practical pieces of "bonus swag" that I've ever received.

Galati makes a mini super range bag That I have an older simpler version of. It was just mini range bag, not super. It has held up extremely well considering I have it filled to the brim with loaded 30 rd mags. The main compartment will hold everything else you listed without too much extra space.

I noticed a smaller deluxe pistol case that might fit the bill and is cheaper. Probably too small for EarPro. They have a lot more bags around $30-$35 that you might find better suited.

When I'm only taking one additional pistol (aside from the one already on my waist), I've been using a Savior 13"x9", mostly because we sell them and as result it was less than what a crappy fast-food lunch goes for these days. Even at retail it goes for about $25. Hauls the pistol with room for additional mags and a decent amount of ammo and some tools.

Better than a crappy fast-food burger meal

Thanks again for the excellent replies everyone.

I went with this bag:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D...dt_b_product_details

It's a great bag, well made and holds enough while still being small.

I bought this add on small molle bag to load with loose ammo:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y...dt_b_product_details

I'll just keep the range bag with extras in my trunk and take the ammo bag in the house to keep full so I'm ready when I want to stop by the range. I may buy another small molle bag to switch out with another caliber when I'm feeling it. I could actually take two as the range bag could squeeze in two small guns like my P365 and G33 if needed.

I've use a MidwayUSA Range and Field Bag for going on 10 years. For me it's the perfect size except if you want to carry a bunch of AR15, 30 rounders. It won't break the bank.

I’ve pretty much switched from range bags to backpacks. I have a small one that would serve your purpose. It’s a 5.11 but does not look tactical. Plain black heavy canvas.
