Intresting. That falls outside the parameters of the GAO investigations which where concluded in the 1980s, IIRC they were completed prior to the M10 pistol tests. However, that described injury is consistent with the investigation reports. However, those injuries occurred in pistols that hadn't had the enlarge hammer pin head retrofitted. I'd wager the slide split at the locking lug recesses. I wouldn't be surprised if the recoil spring and locking blocks were beyond replacement intervals. | |||
