Hello sig forum members, First post here, thanks for the membership. I was sorting thru my p226 magazine stash. This particular one got me curious and I looked all over the web but couldn’t figure when or who makes it. Please take a look and let me know what may be the origin of this mag. The thing that got me is the long recess at the bottom 1/3 of the mag. Most the one I have and seen the recess is Horst (less than 1”). No markings, Smooth back. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to SF. Looks like the garbage U.S.A. branded magazine made during the AWB era (10-rounder). Glad they're no longer in business. Q

So cheap they won't even put their name on it. I forget now who made them but 10-20 years ago they made the 20-30 rd mags with those cheap slanted plastic bases. I wouldn't expect to much out of it and would be surprised if it functions. Seems like I remember them having lock back on the last round issues. I also remember the stamped areas which were the feed ramps being sharp and burred up. Watch out for cuts when loading, they were that sharp. I ended up with a bunch of the 25rd mags in a package deal. Ended up giving them away.

U.S.A. branded mags. I put them along with Ramline as the worst garbage at the time. Even Promag stuff were a tiny bit better. Here is a pic of their pre-ban 30-rd garbage. Q

Thanks for the quick replies fellows. Fortunatly, that is the only one out of my 10 mags. The rest of mine all have the razor back, dove tail or mec gar. Happy Memrorial day
