Factory Nickel P228 with odd slide appearance
Is it normal for the fillet at the front of the slide to be cut so far back you can see the rail of the frame? That is what I first noticed.

Well, not all. The JG P220 mostly line up even. The P220ST actually has a slight overbite. Big Grin

Someone either slipped at the polishing wheel or were trying to remove an even worse cosmetic defect. The latter is more likely since this part doesn't look like it receives hand polishing treatment as part of it's standard mfg process.

On a side note, a defect like this would bother the heck out of the OCD in me.
