Smith and Wesson 61-3. From 1970 through 1973, Smith and Wesson produced the Model 61 in an attempt to pick up some of the market for small pocket pistols recently curbed by the GCA of 1968, which placed a lot of restrictions on the import of anything in the way of a small, lightweight pistol. Let's just say it was... "Less than Successful"... Easy to see why, the ergonomics are essentially non-existent, and they reportedly have a bad rep for reliability. We will see about that as soon as I get a chance to hit the range this weekend. If nothing else, it's a good looking little pistol, I've always wanted to add one to the collection, just as being their only attempt at a mouse gun. Bill R

I've got one of those. Did you get the box and pouch with it? "If Gun Control worked, Chicago would look like Mayberry, not Thunderdome" - Cam Edwards

Unfortunately no, just the gun and a spare mag. Which is more than good enough for what I was looking for! Bill R

I remember those from back then. They were/are interesting and would be a fun range toy I think. Not sure I'd ever carry one. ----- Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. Common sense isn't "right wing" unless you are too far to the left.

Nice! I’ve got its bigger brother… maybe nephew. 2206! Great pistols. Enjoy the 03 world… I had a ball with my license for 24years. Unfortunately, recent NYS laws negated its use. All the best Billy
