P210A American Standard video review by Honest Outlaw
Fairly new video review of the SIG P210A American Standard by Honest Outlaw with him doing a lot of shooting with it at various distances for those that may be interested. He seems to like it quite a bit. The one I handled and dry fired at LGS also had an outstanding trigger on it as he mentioned in his review. He wished that his had the sights that the P210A Target had though. Not sure if those sights are available for the P210A Standard.

The guy had a bad day at the range or does not know how to shoot accurately. As far as sights, most #8 P series sights will fit. If you wish to get target adjustable sights (on a Standard model?), these will do: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1005853178
If one needed to mess with the sights, which are excellent as they come on the Standard P210A, I would install Dawson fiber optic: https://dawsonprecision.com/si...-optic-front-sights/
I think Sig should not have discontinued this model, but of course who cares these days.

I wish I could tell you how long I have wanted to change that front sight...

What height do you recommend?

He’s actually a really really good shot, especially making 3/4 shots at 100 yards with combat sights. He also knows these sights are going to get junked for Dawson sights, but he has to wait for Dawson to reopen from the Flu Man Chu.

Also, that link on Midway says that set is only good for the classic Sigs but not the P210. I’m not sure if there is an adjustable that works on the P210 that’s available (I’ve heard the Adj. Rear on the Target won’t fit).

Thankfully Hogue is working on G10 grips. Once those come out, a P210 Target comes home with me.

I thought it was mostly the weight that made the P210 such a soft shooter. I didn't realize that it has such a low bore axis which definitely contributes.

Come on Sig, make a p210 with the slide cut for a ROMEO1 optic! Us guys with old eyes have a hard time with iron sights!

I've got an EGW mount in the rear dovetail. Venom holds it's zero & works good, probably not as good as a milled slide though (height), although my 210 standard is only a range pistol.

I've been wanting a P210 for a long time. I'm debating weather to get a Swiss P49 mil-surp or a current USA production P210. P49 is around double the price of a USA produced P210.

Which would you get?

The standard sights are dog shit. The front sight is way to wide.

I thought that was a good solid review. The guy can certainly shoot. Sights are subjective. I would agree with his assessment that the sights should be finer for a P210. Probably a narrow front sight black or dot with a blacked out rear or the Von Stavenhagen sights commonly found on P series pistols. I really don't care for the double rear dots that have unfortunately become common on modern pistols.
