I like Gatorz very good quality.

I have 2 pairs of Oakley M2 for pistol shooting. One is yellow for indoor range or cloudy days. The other is a polarized iridium.

For shotgun sports, it’s the Randolph RE Ranger…with a variety of colored lens. That is more important so I can see the bird against different backgrounds.

I ordered two pairs of the ESS crossbow as a set from Amazon, one clear and one shaded gray, as inspired by this thread. I always double-up on hearing protection with muffs over inserts so the fantastically consistent reviews on how good they are for this, and the modest price, sealed the deal.

I use either Oakley Tombstones w/ Prizm lens, or Hunters HD Gold glasses, with yellow lens. Both are great outdoors, and the Hunters are photochromic, and Brian is a great guy, and supports shooting sports.
Neither option is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

ESS.

I’m a Smith Optics guy but the nice thing about the Oakley package, especially in black, is that you could actually use them in real life outside of the range. My Smiths look like shooting glasses.

I also just ordered 2 pairs--one for me and one for the Mrs.--of the Crossbows. I got the ones with the copper lenses. Best for my price range. (It's hard for me to spend too much on eyewear, as I've broken, lost, or had stolen so many hundreds of dollars worth of good glasses over the years.) Very much appreciate everyone's input/insight.

I think high end shooting glasses are one of the biggest rip-offs around. I have in the past bought expensive glasses, and they do not work better or hold up better than less expensive glasses.

I highly recommend Radians as a company, as they do a ton of safety products. All (that I have seen) of their safety glasses meet the ANSI Z87.1+ standard, and these can be had for a few dollars each.

Their shooting glasses are ballistic rated, also meet the higher MIL-PRF-32432 requirements. These can be had for $13 at BassPro:

Their glasses have an effective anti-fog design, and the optics are good. I highly recommend buying numerous pairs of these fine glasses for very little money. Use fresh ones, and if they end up scuffed or scratched, throw them in a bag for loaners, and grab a fresh pair.
