So I thought I had my timing down where both would show up the same day. UPS didn't think that was a good idea I guess. The TSO showed and UPS is holding the Parrot hostage until Tuesday. The TSO is a work of art the trigger is unreal. With my gauge it is breaking just under 2 lbs with no travel.

I have started shooting Steel Challenge and 3 Gun and I thought these would be fun guns in the rotation. Pictures to follow once the Parrot finally shows up.

Congratulations on the new CZs. You sure know how to pick the best.

I just recently picked up a TSO. After about 300-400 shots through it, the trigger has gotten even better than when it was brand new and now shows up at 1 lb 8 oz on my digital trigger gauge. The trigger on the TSO just spoils you for anything else.

I have several Sig Legions that have fine triggers, and a Shadow 2 and Shadow Orange. None of them compare to the TSO.

I've always wondered how the Czechmate and Parrot compare trigger-wise to the TSO, but can't seem to find any reviews comparing the two.

Please check back in after you have received yours and give us a quick review. I can't imagine anything being better than the TSO, but who knows?

Sorry to butt into your thread, those custom CZ's are beautiful pistols, but a little out of my $$ range right now. Could any of you CZ guys give an opinion of the SP-01 Phantom?

I had the TSO out today and on my way home the gun shop called and said the Parrot arrived. Given I haven’t had the Parrot out yet but the TSO has a better trigger. The Parrot seems to have some mush. I am looking forward to getting the opportunity to put some rounds down range with it.

Now you might have to add a Shadow 2 Big Grin

MRBTZ. I've had a CZ Phantom for over five years with many rounds down range without a problem.

Similar opinion I had with the Czechmate. A business acquaintance from my past career (hard to call him a 'friend' given how he would try to beat down my bids all of the time) has one and the first time I handled it I thought its trigger was rather mushy and seemed imprecise for a $3k pistol. Shooting it I didn't notice it as much but compared to my Shadow T-SA at just over 1/3 the price, I found that I strongly preferred my 'cheap' CZ over that one.

Now that's a good looking pair of guns! Thanks for the side by side picture.

I'm surprised that the TSO seems to have a better trigger. I would have expected them to be pretty much the same, or if anything, the Parrot would be the better of the two.

As the owner of a TSO myself, I can't picture there being too many triggers out there that can compete with the one on the TSO. Mine is consistently at 1lb 8oz with no creep and absolutely no grit.

I'm betting that the trigger on the Parrot will improve after you get a few rounds through it, my TSO did.

I was able to adjust the mush out of the trigger. It has a nice wall and breaks. But it's still not as good as TSO. I would say that it pulls at about 3/4 lb heavier than my TSO. So it does have a good trigger average 2.5 lb so I am happy with it. But the TSO is like butter.

The Picts were a ferocious Celtic confederation of tribes in northern Scotland during the late Iron Age. Roman legions who attemped to conquer them just disappeared.

I agree, the TSO trigger just spoil you for anything else. I know my TSO was about 2.5 lb when I first got it. After shooting a couple of hundred rounds through it and cleaning it, I checked again to see that it had dropped to 1.5 lb, and it's 100% original from the factory.
I'm betting that your Parrot will improve after it's broken in a little.
I have to admit, I'm envious. The picture of your Parrot and TSO side by side looks fantastic. I just can't make up my mind between the Czechmate or the Parrot. The Parrot would make a great companion to the TSO and the Shadow Orange that I have (all three in orange grips), but there is something sinister looking about that all black Czechmate.

Got to see a TSO in person. That is a nice gun! This one was in .40 and had a super light trigger. I’d probably have to make it heavier!

It really didn’t seem any bigger in the grip that my Shadow 2 but I didn’t have them side by side.
