I just took delivery of my X5 Legion and love it. Up until this pistol I was most accurate with my P226 SAO Legion however I may actually shoot this a bit better. I received my Legion range bag and coin in just a few days - kudos to Sig.

Sig makes really good products!

Congrats on your new pistol. I'll bet it is sweet.
I have an X-CARRY Legion that I love.

Congrats on the new pistol. I just picked up a P320 X5 Legion last week. Was an impulse buy. Walked in to pick up a RIA FSHC Ultra 9mm 1911-A2, and walked out with it and the Legion. I figured out I have zero self control. Big Grin

Now to actually shoot the guns I buy.

I also just bought a P320 Legion X5, for use in this year's Steel Challenge matches locally.
About 200 rounds into it, and so far ... I really like this pistol.
After 5 years of competing with M&P 9 Pros, I'm really looking forward to learning this X5 Legion.
First match is next weekend.

Congratulations on your new Legion.

I do not own one, but a friend at work does. I consider this to be one of the most feature rich handguns for the money.

I've got a 4 month old X5 Legion that has been shot in less than 10 matches (USPSA). Already have a bent ejector. I must have a lemon. Shoots great but unreliable now.

Almost bought an X-Carry Legion but not after this experience.

I just completed my federal agency's sig P320 / P365 4 day armorer course. The bent ejector on the P320 series was specifically discussed. The culprit is the 21 round magazines. Slamming them into the gun with a fully loaded 21 round mag is sometimes causing it. Over and over repetitiveness will cause it. It's an issue that the agency is seeing quite a good bit of. Again, it's only been seen with our duty guns (P320 X Carry) when you run the 21 rounds mags .

My Niece’s boyfriend bought a P320 X-Five Legion not too long ago. We were shooting at my little private berm and he let me have a go with it.
That thing is cool. I can imagine it being like a cheat code for Steel Challenge matches.

Congrats on the new pistol!

Solution to the problem seems simple to me.... but what do I know.

So what use is a competition pistol that cannot handle 21 round magazines when the legal allowable length for a magazine is 140mm? It makes absolutely no sense that you design a pistol specifically for competition use, then when used for competition you cannot load 21 rounds in it. Maybe its me but that is absolutely stupid. Also keep in mind, this ejector was bent after i think 7 matches, that is probably less than 40 mag swaps and I'm not jamming the things home but its a freaking firearm not a piece of fine china....

I'm sorry, and I know I will sound like old Bill Ruger here... but who in the world needs a pistol with a 21 round magazine?

I'm going to say it.. other than gang bangers hanging outside a bar at 2:00 in the morning.

When you run a stage that has a 34 round course of fire...it's nice not to have to reload 3x. This is strictly a competition pistol not a carry gun

Those of us in law enforcement. There is a 43% increase in officers shot this year and a 63% increase in the year before. 110 (may be one or two off) officers have been shot this year so far. I can name two high profile shootings that have made national news in which the suspect(s) utilized automatic...yes automatic assault weapons. There are video / audio on both and it's undeniable. I carry (3) 21 round magazines on my belt and the one obviously in my weapon. Those 85 rounds will be adequate enough to end the threat or fight my way back to my long gun.....I pray.

Just another quick tip I was taught years ago....there are only two times in which you can have too much ammo on your person. Those two times are 1. when you're drowning 2. when you're on fire

I carry a 20 or 21 round spare for everything. Easier to dig out of my pocket.
