Will the early 220 (late 80's) plastic grips with American mag release fit a 2014 stainless US 220 frame?
Not a fan of rubber Hogue grips. And like the old plastic type over the newer (1992?) slim black poly . Just curious.

Thanks, found out this area needs to be trimmed from the early grip.

the hammer strut design change so yes, it can be done if you want to modify the grips or swap strut assemblies but not a direct fit as has been previously mentioned.

Yes, thanks. I will just trim some early grips to fit. Have never figured out why Sig ever changed them. LOL LOL Kidding, they have just been my favorites since the day I bought my 1st 226 in 1994. Probably just me,
