300 to 400 rounds and no problems, is good , but WWB, percentage of failures is much higher than most higher quality ammo or medium priced ammo, a lot of people use this ammo because of price, I do a lot of shooting and go through thousands of rounds a year, I never have any problems with my carry ammo, and stay away from WWB and cheaper ammo for range use for the reasons stated in this post, I don't like having to shut down my shooting because of bad ammo, and too at my age I don't have the patience I once did, so all I can say is good luck with your choices, I will say some guns will digest anything put through them, not always so accurate put they will go boom..

Might have a close look at the extractor claw, as well as free movement against spring. With slide off, a cartridge base should slide up the face of the breech to be retained by the extractor. The extractor should hold the cartridge in place even with a gentle shake.

My experiences with WWB have gone from positive to decidedly negative. Dirty and unreliable. I've shot remans that burn cleaner.

About the only Winchester I shoot now is the NATO stuff. Dirty but it works. My bulk buys are generally a combination of that and Speer Lawman, heavily weighted towards the Speer.

I've been hearing about winchester white box ammunition for years. Don't use it. It's cheap. It's dirty. It's unreliable.

Never had any such experience. Must be a lot of unlucky people out there.

In fact, I find it more consistent and reliable than most other ammunition, and I find most ammunition fairly consistent and reliable. I just don't have troubles with the winchester basic.

I stopped buying WWB in 9mm. Just barely cycles my G19. For the same price or less I can find quality robust S&B and Fiocci 115 FMJ that are not weak “target” rounds. Good brass for reloading too.
