Thoughts on P320/10mm
First I don't need comments on them being unsafe.
OK, local ad for one with low rd count.
If you have/had one your thoughts would be appreciated.
Any idea on value of one?

A buddy has one. It's a really smooth shooting gun, and has fed and fired everything we've fed it, to include .40 S&W ammo. I think he paid about $600 in a local auction for his.

I have a 320 X-Ten. It shoots very nicely. Recoil is quite mild.

I’ve been pining for a X-TEN Carry Comp. There are a few other 10mm striker guns out there, but nothing that hits the nice size plus a comp as that. I’ve noticed that even those prices of 9mm 320s have hit the floor, the 10mm versions haven’t. That says something significant.

I had both a 5” and an X-Ten Comp. Never had a malfunction with either. Shot a variety of ammo through both from mild to wild. Neither gun would insert a magazine after topping off and chambering a round so they were both 15 round capacity and not 15+1. The X-Ten Comp was noticeably lighter on recoil and did not feel nearly as nose heavy as the 5”. A Romeo X Enclosed optic will direct mount and still allow co-witnessing of the sights. The slide of the Comp is slightly taller and wider than the 5” so holsters are not compatible.

I know you stated you weren’t interested in a conversation about how safe the guns are, but that’s exactly why I no longer own mine. I carried the 5” version in a chest holster underneath my life jacket while kayaking. The thought of having a discharge while out on a lake in the middle of nowhere Alaska was absolutely terrifying. I’m now working to get my Glock Gen 5 G20 into my carry rotation.

I have had a 320 carry since 2021 and it has always been well behaved.
I know I have watched one video of a ND and the guy clearly had his finger in the mouth of the holster when it went bang.
I do not know of anybody personally that has a problem.

I had the full size gun and it was great. I then bought the "Comp" version and sold the full size gun. It was that much better. I am not recoil averse, but the comp really tames the recoil and muzzle flip. It does make it louder.

I am a retired LEO and currently a reserve officer and I qualified with the P365 XTen Comp twice and shot it better than my P365 XL Comp.

Good info here. I appreciate it. Be nice to have some "oomph" while out on the trails. I'm currently carrying a .45 Colt, but I'd like to more capacity just in case. Black bears are pretty common around here.

Not that I have one in 10mm but I agree with what WCCPHD has said about comped guns and how much of a difference they make. I would assume it would make a greater difference, in a positive fashion, for a 10mm.

The grip on the X Ten is more comfortable than on my 320 Legion. The recoil is obviously more, but not intolerable.
