Car gun safe suggestions
Good ideas. I’m looking for a better way to secure firearms when I travel to matches. I need room for 2 large pistols. I’ve been looking at the BOSS strong box too. https://www.bossstrongbox.com/toploaders/pistol-boxes

With a handcuff, that's no time at all. Seconds.

I had a Lock'erDown in my 2014 Tundra.
I mounted gun magnets onto the walls using Chicago screws.
It served me well, but they went out of business.

In my new 2026 Tundra, I opted for the Console Vault.
Unfortunately, their electronic lock isn't available for this model due to its size.
I never leave a firearm in my vehicle overnight.
But I do keep cash and other valuables, and a full-sized pistol will fit if needed.
I also have their latch-activated LodeStar™ LED Light
I'm very happy with it.

thanks all
I found a console vault for my Tacoma and I'll use the Micro vault for my Camry under the seat.
I don't think either will stop a skilled and determined thief but they should seriously slow down
the smash and grab types and stop an accidental find by say grand kid.

I've always considered myself a good, responsible gun owner...Guns secured at home, ammo, etc. My daughters
job provides her with a house, they pay for everything, only thing is no guns. Out of respect I never carry
when I visit but couple weeks ago I was called on an emergency while I was out and I stashed my LCP in the truck when I arrived.
I seldom carry that gun and with what went on I honestly forgot for a week or so before I missed it. Not good I know so I want a
secure place to put it...
