Can the P239 slide be cut for a red dot? Login/Join

Thinking about putting a Holosun 507k on a P239. Can this be done? Preferably w/o a plate. The 507k is fairly narrow, 0.95" wide.

They list the 239 as one the can do.

As for that optic and no plate not sure the answer to that but the slide can be milled.
