I just made the plunge and picked up a new Sig P225 A1 Pistol. I cleaned and oiled it up but haven't shot it yet but soon. I really think that this is one of the nicest feeling and looking gun.
Bought one this week as well. Be sure to Text Bumper and get a thin PSHIM for it ($7.00) it will prevent scratching on the frame from the decocker. I paid less than $700 shipped..couldn’t pass it up. Sweet handling pistol, haven’t shot it yet.

I've been browsing for a lightly used one. After holding one, I knew I'd eventually have one (even though it's a single stack). They definitely have a quality feel about them.

I just picked up a P225 classic carry today. The trigger feels great and the reset is phenomenal. Almost as short as my P99. I really wa not looking for one, but stumbles across this one on GB.

Great gun...didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. I found mine used, with 5 mags for less than $700, box and all. Of all the medium/big Sig's (I also own the P226 Mk25, M11A1 & P220) it has the best 'in the hand' feel.
It's as accurate as the others for me as well, regularly turning in ~1" gps at 10 yds, slow fire. Reliability has been great as well...can't remember a malfunction with either factory rounds or my handloads.
Hope it works out for you as well. Rod

Great gun. Couple years ago I was trying to decide between the Sig P225A1 and the Sig P239 and some members here talked me into the P225A1 ... and I am so glad they did.
You want to improve on what is already a great gun? Send it to the SIG ARMORER. I sent my P220 and will be sending my P225A1 next.

I've bought two online and sold both of them. My OCD couldn't take the very loose slide to frame fit compared to my old P series guns. The few that I have sampled recently in the Tampa area do the same thing. If I could fine one that was tight I'd snatch it up.
While heavy for their capacity, the trigger is magic and they are extremely accurate.
Save the whales. Redeem them for valuable prizes...
