I currently carry a P365 and I am getting ready to buy a P365XL for nightstand use. My thought is that both would be pretty close to the same vs carry P365 and 1911 on nightstand for instance. So, I'm thinking if I buy a P365XL I would put a light on it. I have carry holsters for the P365 that would not work for the XL plus I have Crimson Trace green lasers on the carry pistol. Looking at Streamlight and Inforce and looking for your input.

Have you checked out the Olight Pl mini 2? Theres a rail for the XL. I havent tried the rail myself but I've used the mini series for years and theyre solid CCW lights that put plenty of light out of the front.

The rails were out of stock for a while. I received an email yesterday they are back in. I ordered the rail and don't even hae the XL yet although, I may go buy it today. Talk about the cart before the horse.

You’ll like it. Only thing I need is a custom holster molded for the rail...

I have one of these for my nightstand gun. It's good, but a bit fat for the 365 IMO

Took a while to decide but today I ordered the Olight PL mini 2 for my 365XL. Guess I'll see if I like it in a couple days. Looked good on you tube videos. 365XL with Olight for night stand and 365 with green crimson trace for EDC.
