I found this P239 on the other Sig site and just picked it up today. It seems to be a very nice example German frame. Original box and 3 mags, I have one new mag for a total of 4. DA 8.2 lbs and SA is 4.8 lbs. Night sites are dead so planning to replace those. If I'm reading the date clock correctly it's March of '03. I like it a lot.

Love me some 239 goodness, have one in 9 which is a SAS model, and two in 357 sig. Great pick up on your part.

Do guys think my date guess is correct considering the label and the grip clock code? Looks like this pistol had one of the grips changed. I deleted the '98 grip photo and replaced it with the photo of the other grip. After looking at the P239 serial list I believe this is a '03 model. Thanks.

That looks nice. Clossic James Bondish.

Very nice. I like everything about them except for the grips, which are an easy fix.

Yeah, I really like the two tone models. My P228 has the same treatment.

Jack Bauer!

The P239 is lovely. Condition looks to be excellent - 90% plus. Nice score.

Congratulations, that is a sweet addition to the family

I'm a big fan of the P239 pistol, especially the manner in which it handles the 357 SIG cartridge. I do happen to own quite a few of them Big Grin

I really prefer the early two tone guns like yours where the slide and controls are actually nickeled. Once the factory began leaving the slides bare stainless and not nickeling the controls I thought they were far less attractive

All of my P239s are chambered for the 357 SIG and I do own a couple of the older two tones.

The pistol pictured above is wearing Hogue grips made from Kingwood.

My other two tone P239 pictured below is wearing Nils grips. The Nills grips are very comfortable, at least in my hands. As you can see I also acquired a 9MM threaded barrel so I can use my can on the 239s
