Funny thing, after I took that first photo I just couldn’t stand looking at that black crap on the grip any longer.
I have a couple of Nill’s grips and I know how pretty grip wood can be. I was super happy just picking away at it revealing more and more. I see the gunsmith who did the build up motored off some of the wood and stippling. I’m reluctant to think about if I want to address that. I hate to get the dremel out, but I’m tempted.

SIGnifiedSo it seems like silicone oil is recommended for air guns. Is this everybody else’s experience?
I’ve also read where some manufactures prohibit silicone oil. ???
There is no indication in the Pardini manual of which oil.
But from what I’ve read silicon oil provides low volatility without destroying the seals on the air cylinder.
What do y’all do?

jaybirdaccountantI'd check with the airgun's manufacturer to get the best source of info on oil. I use regular gun oil, but don't put any in the chamber area to avoid it igniting. I'll also put a very light coat in the barrels for storage, but store them barrel down so it won't run in the chamber and dry the oil out before shooting.

SIGnifiedHere is the 4th air pistol … Looks brand new never used. The grip seems to indicate that it’s probably “target” model… Not sure, but it is the recoilless version. More research.
BTW, that walnut grip is huge… Feels like holding a Deagle. lol

DoctorSoloThat's a nice gun, been looking at those a long time, one of the few you can get in .22.
I have good luck with JSB exact pellets, you can usually find a weight your gun likes from light to heavy.
Enjoy the new obsession!
