I'm contemplating on which one of the slides I'm thinking about purchasing. ![]() First is the Sig Sauer original Pro cut slide, I think I'm going with the black color. Second would be the Pro slide from Sig Sauer, also in black. ![]() On a funny note , I had a safe opening job today, and the owner of the safe is a FFL dealer of fully automatic weapons, silencer silencers, manufacture of firearms. I was in a weapons playground for adults. He had almost every automatic firearm, caliber, size, you name it and they were everywhere in the house. I knew he had to be single, no wife would allow a husband a huge tripod machine gun in the middle of the living room, kitchen had fifty cal machine guns, and the tv room had REAL fully auto Thompson Machine Guns! Then I was talking about my Sig Sauer P320 build I'm working on, and he said that he's into shooting competitions and a Sig Sauer would be great, so he buys one online for a thousand dollars. That really takes the enjoyment out of building a Sig Sauer. ![]() It was really, really difficult to work on a safe with so many distractions everywhere. ![]() Thanks to Grayguns for my Sig P320 parts. ![]() ![]() Thanks to the forum members for their imput. ![]() ![]()

Purchase what you like, but I can't understand carrying the pro-cut slide; it's far from snag-free, and has all kind kinds of places for dirt and crud to get in the slide. Really the opposite of what one needs in a carry pistol. If the goal is to put an optic on it, there are no end of places that will mill a slide for the optic, for far less than the cost of a pro-cut slide.

I'm not fully following your nomenclature, so I'll use my own. The Pro-Cut with slide cut outs for weight and a cut out for the DPP or SIG Romeo optic. I'm not a fan. Then there is the slide that resembles the PRO series pistol. It's a standard slide with the DPP/Romeo cut. I've got one, but its not in front of me. It might lack the loaded chamber indicator my actual pro model has. It came with standard height sights. I purchased the second one with the plan to add a DPP and suppressor height sights. Otherwise, it is functionally identical to what the pistol comes with.

Also not a fan of the Pro-Cut or in my nomenclature, "Dragon Cut 4.7". But some people will like them and buy them. Dragon Cut ![]() I like the "Professional Series" slide that I consider to be the best P320 slide available. It fixes all the errors of the past. Professional Series 4.7" ![]() Has: Rear dovetail Most up-to-date optic milling (R1P/DPP) and some later issues are drilled/tapped for RMR Cover plate screws on from the top down X-Ray sightsThis message has been edited. Excellent responses, this is really helping me out, thanks. I'm getting a real education here and that's my goal, since Sig Sauer has numerous slides to choose from. ![]() Thanks to Grayguns for my Sig P320 parts. ![]() ![]() Thanks to the forum members for their imput. ![]() ![]()
