Trigger Reach - Legion P226 SAO v. P229 SAO

Is the trigger reach the same for the P226 & P229 SAO Legion Series pistols?

It is very similar but the grips are a little different so that affects the feel a little.

Thanks.

My daughter is looking for an SAO with a little longer reach. The P226 is pretty good, but the gun is a little too large for her to effectively conceal. I thought a P229 might be the ticket, but I wasn't sure how different the trigger reach and break point might be between the two guns. Obviously, I am a bad example of a Sig guy because I do not own a P229. :-(

It is virtually the same.

I have a 229 Legion SAO with the Legion grips and a 226 Elite SAO RX (same beaver tail and undercut) with Hogue Piranha G10 grips, there is no discernible difference between the two with the Grayguns flat adjustable trigger.

The actual trigger break on the 226 is actually a bit better than the 229, but that’s down to individual unit differences. They’re mechanically identical.

The grip of the 229 is vertically truncated compared to the 226, but otherwise, pretty much identical.
