228 is an antique? Can't agree with that. If I'm able to wear a proper holster with sufficient clothes to cover up, it's a 228 every time.

Reading through your thread, I started missing the P228 I gave my daughter for a wedding gift.
I didn't shoot that one because it was eventually going to be her gift.

I just purchased 1993 P228 from a forum member over the weekend.
The gun is in good shape, but it doesn't have the case, paperwork, test target, and such, so I'll be more inclined to get it to the range and shoot it. Big Grin

I feel a classic P226 and P228 should be staples in a decent collection.
But then, I think everyone should own at least one Glock.. Wink

I don't understand the question, you either want a trigger fired pistol or a striker fired pistol.

Easy decision, choose and move forward.
