I have two 17rd P250 magazines circa 2011 with the round hole base plates that I planned a base plate upgrade to the square hole format for the P320 xCarry module. I bought four brand new Sig 12rd (Sig converted to 10rd) with the base plate finger rest. Thinking that a base plate exchange would make it P320 xCarry compatible. Wrong it didn’t work. The 17rd and 12rd magazines bottom edges are completely different. Where was my logic flaw? What is the solution with a part number? At least, I can target shoot in NJ without being charged as a felon.

I was going to buy new floor plates but after feed back from the forum I used a dremel and filed down the lip. Problem solved

SIG P320/P250 mags have a sort of built-in dysfunction element. You have such a wild assortment, you are guaranteed a ride on the SIG mag dysfunction machine. https://osagecountyguns.com/bl...floor-plate-updates/

FWIW, I found coyote brown base plates in the latest iteration, 3 for 3.99. PM for where. They allowed the oldest style mags to work with an RXP C, and are different colored to spot quickly. It's very frustrating, I have mags for all the types but it's hard to match them quickly. Oh yeah, the new ones have a round hole in the bottom, and the earlier styles a square peg. They're not supposed to work, but they do.

My p250s were round peg, my X5 is square. Are you saying they went back to round? My link earlier fits my X5.

All sig had to do was change the mold(actually easy using the currently used ones by just milling out a small portion) of the x frames to fix the issue. Or even reduce the price of the floor plates so it's affordable. Charging up the butt for a small peice of plastic made in the hundreds is screwing the consumer. and no reason for it but profit. sig nut', haulin' 3 sig 228's

Clip off the dog ears (takes seconds), and the mag fits everything. Problem solved.

Changing molds for plastic isn't "easy", nor is it cheap. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

This is even better: I've been experimenting with the different grip modules on my pair of M17 Bravos (black Nitron finish, not Coyote tan). The small standard and small X grips fit me better than the "medium" ones that come with the pistols. With the Sig magwell on a small X-full grip the standard 17 round floorplates don't fit. 21 rounders are OK though. So I bought a few Legion aluminum baseplates from the Sig Store for my 17 rounders but then found that they won't fit a standard grip module! Really? I don't *need* the magwell but it does help add some weight along with an X5 internal grip weight.

Charging $50/mag makes it a much more reasonable proposition. Better than OEM, but you'll still want to cut the ears off: https://ghostinc.com/moab-sig-...he-sig-320-p250-4pk/

Hey, I received 2 compact mags, for which I already have Ghost baseplates assigned. They're your's, if you'll message me your address. Round post, no ears, and they fit my x compact grip perfectly.

Or you fix them yourself for free with an expenditure of about minutes of your time.... Or hop on a gun forum and bitch. Whatever works. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.
