Good everyone, As per many suggestions I replaced the recoil spring in my P220 9mm. I ordered what appears to be the correct spring frpm Wolf springs and it's 18#. Physically longer than the 15# OEM. I'll aattach a pic. It is noticebly stronger when I rack it. But now Frequently with any mag the first round rack cause a nose up jam into the chamber. The silde appears to over run the case and ding it. Tomorrow I am going to run another 7 mags with the OEM spring to confirm. Any Ideas?

It's not unusual for a new spring to be longer than the old one. I would, however, try a 15 pound spring, if that's what was originally in it. Also, of course, the clean a lube routine.

Agreed on length and I think todays test with the old spring will confirm The new one is to strong.

I'll post up this afternoon.
