Bought the P365 XL sight unseen. I liked the non-XL version but it was a little too small and a little too snappy for me. When I saw the specs on the XL it seemed like exactly what I’ve been looking for in a carry pistol.

Picked it up today and I was not disappointed!

First it fits great in the hand and balances nicely. In terms of the grip I’d compare it to the P228–fits just as nicely in the hand, but is noticeably slimmer. Despite the light weight this thing has no extra kick at all. Just normal recoil with a very easy return of the sights to the target.

I only ran 50 rounds of range ammo through it. Very accurate right out of the box. Trigger was slightly gritty, no different than any other new Sig I’ve had.

I’ve been waiting a long time for Sig to make this gun!

Welcome to the XL club! It's quickly becoming my favorite gun of all time. I went with the 43x initially due to the full grip, but the XL is even better

Only thing I’ll add—it is near impossible to get that 12th round into the magazine on this thing. Is there a special technique out there that I don’t know about?

You need to invest in an UPLULA. I never owned one until I bought a P365. After a while the magazine spring compresses enough and the UPLULA becomes optional.

You can also load the magazine with as many as you can and set it aside for a few days. That should allow you to load the extra round(s) eventually.

I've owned my P365XL for a month. I have 500+ rounds through it. I have never experienced a feeding failure. The XL shoots to point of aim for me. I applied the Talon grips to thicken the frame somewhat. The new Hogue sleeve was a complete failure, trying to squeeze a finger groove hump into the limited grip space. The XL is now my daily carry, replacing the S&W Shield. For some reason, no 12-round factory magazines are available for sale? I am limited to the two mags provided with the pistol. Once I can supplement my mag supply (I think the extended length 15-rounders defeat the size advantage of the P365XL) I will be 100% satisfied.

I just picked up a P365XL today. I was looking at smaller Beretta or PPQ. Then I put the 365XL in my hands... SOLD. It should go well with my 229 and 320RX.
I'm really looking forward to shooting it on Sunday.

For now you can get regular 12 round mags and buy XL floor plates from the Sig store, or just wait.
