After getting one to the range I'm extremely surprised to find I hate it.

I had and sold off a number of P320's before the X-Full/Carry/Compact grip modules were introduced. Recently got back into P320's and found the X-Compact is one of if not the best feeling grip of any pistol I've handled. I assumed the AXG would be an improvement but the size and shape is so different that my trigger finger is forced into / through the trigger guard way more while at the same time the side of the beaver tail presses painfully into my hand. Off she'll go.

Next up is trying the TXG and I suspect that will fare better as it looks more like the X-Full/Carry.

If you don't want to go with the AXG, you can try the Icarus Precision frame. If you want to go back to polymer, I don't think the Wilson Combat frame can be beat in terms of ergos and they're only about $60.

My biggest complaint about the TXG frame is it feels like a big bar of soap. If you can find one stippled, so for that one.

Great karma, I'm in Big Grin! Honestly, I keep wrestling with wanting an AXG grip module. I've handled one, but never actually shot a gun equipped with one. It felt good in the hand, but just holding it isn't the same as shooting. It's expensive enough that I'm afraid to drop the coin and then find out that it's no better then the plastic, or like in your case, even worse.

The urge keeps coming back, though, so I'll likely end up with one eventually.

I’ve tried the WC grip. Didn’t fit my hand very well, not enough width for the added front-to-back increase in size. The front strap and back strap checkering is damn nice though. Would like to feel an Icarus one but haven’t come across them locally.

Does your AXG grip have flat or palm swell grips?
I just built a new P320 with the AXG grip module and changed the grips to Hogue palm swell grips and it is night vs day.
Just a thought'

The palm swell on the AXG made a huge difference to me also, but I’m using LOK Veloce grips with palm swells. I’ve got two AXG 320s, a Wilson framed 320, and an X5 with the the TXG frame. The TXG will definitely feel bigger in your hand, but the grip has very little texture on it like others have stated.

That's too bad. I have the classic with the red wood grips and the scorpion, and shoot them both very well. Good luck finding one that works for you!

Got the P320 X-Carry Legion to the range today for the first time. Absolutely outstanding with the weight and feel of the TXG module. I may be in the minority but I would love a Compact size TXG module. C'mon Sig.
