Tooky13Interesting Marking On My New LDC Barrel
Was cleaning my P226 LDC today and I noticed this marking on the bottom of the barrel. I just got the gun recently and it came from SIGs German Master Shop. Looks almost like a QR code, but not really, it’s made up of little circles. Never seen this type marking before. I’m figuring it’s their way of tracking the barrel through the manufacturing process. Any ideas?

12131All the new/latest German SIGs are like that. The code is also on the frame and slide. Triple matching QR codes.

Ahh, that makes sense. Now that I look closer, I see the marking on the bottom of the slide, which is a little different format. The one on the frame must be under the grips, I'll take your word for it

MMBI Imports.
Not all LDCs are German made. Some are US made.

They are actually matching, if you follow the patterns of those dots. Maybe.
Anyway, those dots are in German. You got to translate to English. That's why they got you confused.
