My S&W500 (6.5") is the heaviest handgun I own at 60.7 ounces.

Ruger Redhawk 8 shot 357 with 5.5 inch barrel. It was a mistake I should have gone for the 4 inches. This thing is way too heavy.

My 8" MPX without any optic or brace is supposed to weigh in at right around 5 lbs, but with brace, T-1 Micro and the rest of the mods and 'stuff' it now weighs just under 7 lbs and yes, it's slightly heavier than my AR15 pistol builds.

Currently my heaviest "traditional-style" handgun is my 5" GP100, which Ruger says is 43.5 ounces. Probably the heaviest I've ever had was the P220 10mm Hunter, which was only about an ounce heavier than the GP100 according to factory specs, but it gave the impression that it felt even heavier still, which with its limited capacity is the big reason why it's no longer here.

Oops. My recent buy 92X Performance tops both @ 47.6 oz. according to Beretta; I still haven't gotten to get used to the notion of owning this one. I've only put a handful of rounds through it to date given my reluctance to use much of my ammo these days. I may have thousands of rounds of 9mm, but it's damn hard and/or expensive these days to replace even when working in a gun shop.

Dan Wesson Valor Commander at ~39 ounces empty, with a loaded magazine adding another ~7 ounces.

Ruger Redhawk 4.2" in 45LC/45ACP that Ruger says weighs 44oz.



OK, I guess I have to backtrack. I do have a Springfield Armory Saint AR pistol that weighs in at 68oz Empty no optics.....

Not including my AR pistol, this is my heaviest.

Bull-barrel Ruger mk2 target, at just over 40oz.

My CZ TSO barely edges out my Ruger Redhawk by about 4 oz.

Surprisingly, my Blackhawk (loaded) followed by my p220st and GP100.

I don't have a way to weigh mine but just in the published numbers my P226 X6 is pretty beefy at nearly 3.6 empty. I was thinking my Mark23 with the LAM would be more than that but probably not. Of course any of these guns suppressed is a whole bigger ballgame.
