I'd say most people's heaviest pistol is gonna include the initials AR.
STs probably coming in second.

Ruger Alaskan 454 Casull. Just checked Ruger's website and it says it's 44oz/2.75 pounds. What's odd is that it lists the 44 mag version 1 oz heavier for some reason.

That Ruger Alaskan is quite the “boom stick”.
Also as much as I am not a “deagal” fan that case hardening is the tits. There is something about that old school method that really works on modern semi autos.

My heaviest handgun is a 10” Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier Grade in .454, which checks in at 55.84 ounces unloaded, according to the factory.
My heaviest semi-auto is a 5” Pardini GT9 INOX (steel frame variant), which weighs right around 55 ounces with an empty magazine.

My Dan Wesson 445 Supermag with a 10" barrel and a 4x nikon scope on top is rivaled by my S&W 8" 460 magnum. My 30/30 Contender 14" is probably heavier but I always shoot that from a bench.

Without a scale I can't weigh them, but I don't have any heavy handguns. They are all polymer or aluminum frames/receivers. I suppose the heaviest would be the alloy-frame CZ P-01.

Smaller chamber holes in the same diameter cylinder = more metal in the cylinder = heavier.

My MPX is six pounds. Some of the AR pistols are aa bit lighter, I think.
Other than that, my .41 redhawk, and perhaps the CZ bull shadow.

I think that would be my P220 Sport, at 46 oz. My Dan Wesson blued 6" Vent Rib .357 Mag, around 44 oz. isn't far behind.

My SIG P220-10mm SAO Elite model weighs 44 oz with an empty mag, making it just over the limit for IDPA. That is the heaviest handgun I own.
