Anyone know what the fully loaded weight is of a Ruger LCP22 with 10+1 ??? I was thinking this would be a great around the house / walking the dog firearm. I currently have a use a Keltec P32 with the +1 extended magazine and FMJ and green laser and wanted to compare the 2. The weight of this is 11.75 ounces. What would you all perfer 8+1 of .32acp or 10+1 of .22LR ??? Thanks for reading and any info given. God Bless !!!

Well mr google says one round weighs .116 oz so quick public math says add 1.3 more oz. That’s sounds really light but I’ve never weighed a 22 before. So 9 rounds is 1 oz. Does that seem right you oz is lbs, lbs is pain guys?

While I have carried many micro sized pocket guns ( .25&22’s in decades past and more recently 32&380) I feel comfortable with any pistol in this size range that is relentlessly reliable regardless of caliber.
I have both an LCP II in 380 and also a .22 ( I won the .22 as a prize at a shooting match so was essentially a free gun- doubt I would have ever bought one)
Both LCP’s are extremely reliable ( in about 1k fired zero malfunction rate for the 380, and in the .22 a similar amount fired and one malfunction)
The Achilles heel of 22’s is the ammo due to rimfire priming construction has the likelihood of an ammo related malfunction being much higher than a center fire.
I carry both interchangeably with confidences

It's a great little walk around gun, and mine is far more accurate than my Kel-Tec P32. I load mine with Ely Tenex because most .22 failures are due to bad primers, and the Tenex load is hand primed.

Since both the LCP22 and the P32 are just about the same size and weight, can you tell me what it is that makes you more accurate with the LCP22 ??? I am still considering purchasing an LCP22 just to have as you can never have too many firearms !!! Thanks and God Bless

Absolutely love my LCPII .22 accurate , reliable and I like the safety. Really relegates the little .25s to has been status, though I still like playin with em.

Folks were talking about a smaller Ruger in .32 a bit before th LCPII got released last year, hope we see it.
