Well I’ve been looking to replace my 228 I sold almost 2 decades ago now. I am not looking for NIB, but something decent, as this will be a carry gun.

I was thinking maybe I would find one of the Zurich ones, but no luck. I have found several decent priced ones on Gunbroker and the web, but they all have been refinished in DuraCoat or Cerakote. This makes me a little leery because of all the recent Israeli imports, which were sold as parts only guns. I have heard some of those had cracks at the frame rails.

Do any of you have any reputable sources you would recommend for a decent PD trade in that is still serviceable?

just watch the classifieds here and be ready to grab one, they pop up pretty often.
