P365 NRA purchase Login/Join

Walked into work today to find a new P365 NRA edition sitting on the shelf having been refused by a customer after ordering it. Purchased it for $530 and am not disappointed after getting it home.

Pistol came with XRay sights which are really bright in the dark and the green front jumps out at you during the day. Three mags, (1) ten round mag with the flat baseplate, (1) ten round mag with the pinky extension and (1) twelve round mag with the extended baseplate.

The PVD finish on it isn't great. It is thin in some places and slightly rough in others but honestly I can care less. The gun is going to get carried and holstered a lot so it will look well used in short order anyway.

Trigger is surprisingly light and smooth with a short takeup. No definitive wall. Has a tactile and audible reset which I like.

Grip has great texture and sticks to your hand. Definitely will need to wear an undershirt until it has worn down some.

The magazine springs are extremely stiff out of the box. Took quite a bit of effort to get the last round in them and forget about getting them seated with the slide closed. Expecting this to get better over time like most new mags do. All three say Made in USA so I'm assuming Checkmate?

I need to get to the range and shoot it but so far I'm extremely pleased. Sig hit a home run with this one.

I haven't carried the P228 or the G19 forever. They have been relegated to obscure locations. That's how highly I think of the P365. It's the perfect little CC gun. 12+1 rds in a tiny pistol that disappears in your pocket and that eats anything I've fed it. What's not to like?

That's a great price on the NRA edition. Even during normal times it usually retails for over $600 (supporting Wayne's ever expanding clothing allowance, doncha know). At your cost, I suspect that the guy who backed out might've had to pay a restocking fee. Oh well, his loss.

The P365 has proven itself to be one dependable CCW. I still rely on my .40 for EDC, but I strongly suspect this summer my two P365s will get considerably more carry time.

I’m stretching my Pockets with the 10 round mag. How are you doing it with the 12 round mag?

I have one of those and like it a lot. I added a GreyGuns black safety grip module and it is now perfect. And, looks great too, nice two tone.

I run the 10 round magazine with the pinkie baseplate, or just the 12 round magazine for pocket carry in a DeSantis pocket holster.

Congrats on the 365 NRA.
Now you need more mags....yes, they are Checkmate. Check out this mag deal.

I believe the NRA edition came with a challenge coin?
Compare the flat trigger to the curved trigger-- I prefer the flat trigger on the 365

It did come with the challenge coin. I appreciate the link to the mags.

What a coincidence! I just bought the NRA XL edition which included a RomeoZero, but no coin that I saw. I'll look thru the box again. The Zero wasn't installed and is still packaged, I may hustle it off.

Here I thought I wanted a 15, but why not 14 in the size of a 12 for carry

For my purpose, big difference between the 12-rd mag (14 w/ magguts) vs a 10-rd mag (12 w/ magguts). One will have the bottom poking out from your pocket. The other completely hidden.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Depends on the depth of your pocket, I suppose.
