So while I own many SIGs, the gun I find myself carrying the most is my Glock 26. The glock isn’t my favorite to shoot, and not my most accurate gun either. It is the only striker fire gun I own. But it is light, comfortable to wear all day, and holds a decent amount of rounds.
The P365XL has caught my eye. I shot a P365 Spectre with the distressed frame (no gold) and the trigger felt much better than my stock glock. I see the Spectre is damn near double the regular 365XL. Is it just cosmetic differences? Is the trigger pull weight the same for the stock 365XL and the Spectre? I really enjoyed shooting it and I don’t care about the custom slide, the grips were nice but for double the price I can pass. But if you are going to say the trigger is no where near as smooth, or twice the pull, maybe I would look at the Spectre.

Thanks! The trigger on that Spectre was really smooth and felt much lighter than my glock. That’s the main thing I liked about it, so if that is the same no reason to spend the extra money on a Spectre.
I have the 365xl, the 365, and the 365x. Have probably owned 20 glocks over the years and none of their stock triggers feel as good to me as all my 365's. I have even replaced the trigger bars on some glocks and polished others and none were as good to me as the sig 320's or 365s. That is I suppose subjective.

That is my belief. But although I doubt that there’s any deliberate differences among the various P320 fire control units, the trigger pull weights of my two “custom” FCUs were significantly less than the others. Pull weights of my P320s range from 6 pounds 6 ounces for a gun purchased in 2018 down to 4 pounds 5 ounces. Guns purchased in 2020 and later have pull weights less than 5 pounds.

I’ve got most of the flavors described and the “custom shop” fcu. They all feel the same within +/- a tiny bit. The curved vs flat feels more different than anything else.
Spectre isn’t worth it unless you just like the aesthetic. FCU’s are all the same within manufacturing tolerance.

Thanks everyone! I am glad to hear it is mainly cosmetic. That 365XL Spectre shot really well. The trigger was the best striker pistol I have shot, figured maybe they did a lot of polishing and fine tuning on the Spectre. The distressed was ok, and maybe if it was similar pricing I might look at it, but not at double the price.
Ya I owned a p365 and 4- p320's custom builds I made... The FCU'S are the same but the straight trigger changes the feeling and leverage. My 365 had a good trigger and there are some minor, inexpensive upgrades that make it even better. Sigs FCU's are easy to work on, although I didn't feel that the 365 needed any upgrades, it's a good trigger. I considered the 365 is one, if not the best CC guns out there, Sig sell tons of them, I think they advertise it the top selling gun.
If you do a lot of shooting and want a really good range gun try a P320 X-compact it's actually has a little shorter slide and it shoots like a dream, more accurate and superior to the 365xl.
