I use Agency Arms minimalist mag well attachments on many of my Glocks. They don't add a lot of dimension, but I like the way they feel in hand, and they do protect the lip of the mag well.

Shield Arms came out with their own version for the G43X and G48, so I ordered a couple, and threw them on last night. They're also very minimalist, and I'm a believer that if you need the mag well attachment to put the magazine in the pistol, then you need to practice with reloading the pistol...so they're not crutches for bad technique. They are nice, though.

They fit quite nicely, and use a single threaded screw with an expanding grip plug that makes them very secure. The standard Shield S15 magazine fits against the mag well attachment quite nicely. The slight flare provided by the attachment has the feel of pressing the hand higher up for a higher grip, although realistically there's not enough material there to actually do that. A tactile reminder, maybe.

The Gen 5 glocks already have a slightly flared mag well lip. The Shield Arms attachment looks nice, and provides a bit of protection to the lip. They run seventy five bucks each, which is actually less expensive than the Agency Arms minimalist mag well lips that I put on my full size glocks. Worth it to me.

For those thinking about one, I believe they're worth the cost.
