Alan_VAKimber Micro .380 Magazines for a P238?
The Magguts web site sells magazines the length of a 6 round mag that holds 7 rounds due to their hybrid springs. They say it fits both the P238 and the Kimber Micro 380. This leads me to ask if the Kimber mags (less expensive than Sig) work well in the P238. Any experience from the group?

soggy_spinoutFrom the ones we've had in the shop, I know that the mags from each gun will lock in and hold the slide back on the other's gun. Whether they're reliable in the other's gun, that I haven't tested. I don't own a Micro380 and I haven't bought any of the Kimber mags for my own 238.

Dusty78I know that the 9mm mags between the 938 and micro 9 are interchangeable.

Alan_VAAt half the price of the Sig mag, it looks like it's worth experimenting with.

ewillsNot exactly micro sized 1911 related, but....I have had 100% reliability using Wilson mags in my Kimber 1911. The Kimber mags that came with the gun, not nearly as reliable. I won't be buying any Kimber mags from now on. Wasn't just the two that came with it. Wife bought me a few Kimber mags for xmas a few years back. They all seem to have issues. But as you have said, given the price maybe worth trying.

armedprofI use the Colt Mags in my P238. They work better than the Sig Mags and they are only $25...
