have a rack to separate the parts from the bottom. You want non-reactive chemicals. you can find out by checking the msds sheets for simple green and mean green.

Don't put coated aluminum in the machines without testing it on another piece of coated aluminum.

I have a long thread about what happened to me.

i recommend talking to branson about which metal cleaners would be suitable for the types of fire arms you have.

I don't reload, so, I can't speak for that.
The Gun Parts Solution works great. It's expensive, but when you're using like 1/3 a cup at a time, it's not bad. I've used it on 20-25 guns in one sitting. Cleaned them all! Probably could have gotten another 15 guns cleaned with that solution.

I think the enamel/paint for the safety on my Walther PPK came off, maybe the same on Mike's Beretta. No problem with aluminum frames.

When I say it gets out every bit of oil/lubricant, it gets out EVERY BIT! So be prepared to wipe the guns down with oil or one of those silicone cloths after.

The Lucas ultrasonic is the way to go. Has rust inhibitors in it that allow you to run it and put it back together.

I'll echo CPD SIG, lubricate the weapon/parts after using the ultrasonic cleaner. I know a guy who found that one out the hard way.
