Which Glock dry fire magazine?
I’m trying to pick one of the dry fire magazines for my Glock 48. Does anyone have experience with these?

1) Remove magazine and triple-check the chamber is empty.

2) Dry fire.

3) Rack slide.

4) Reset trigger.

5+) Repeat 2-4.

No $100 "dry fire magazine" needed. Big Grin

These dry fire mags don't accurately replicate the feel/break/reset of the Glock trigger pull anyway.

If you have a Glock Performance Trigger installed, the trigger can similarly be pulled to the rear multiple times since it's under spring pressure to return to full extension. But it likewise doesn't accurately replicate the feel of the initial trigger.

?

I don't know why you'd need a magazine, unless the gun has a magazine disconnect "safety", which no Glock does to my knowledge. I could "kinda-sorta-maybe" see a use for a weighted, inert (no chance of taking a live round) magazine that simulates the weight of the ammo for dry-fire practice.

He's talking about the fancy dry fire training mags like these:

They have a spring-loaded mechanism that pushes the trigger bar back forward and provides some resistance when it's pulled, to give you a repeat trigger pull of sorts without having to rack the slide, though it isn't a 1:1 with the actual Glock trigger pull.

.

Even if this device doesn't perfectly duplicate the trigger feel, it could be useful for rapid/repeat-fire practice so you don't have to take your hand off the grip to reset the slide each time. But a C-note?

This, so much this. If I am dry firing I want my guns trigger pull with all its quirks and nuances. The dryfire mags don’t give me this.
