Check out speedsights. POA/POI is the tip of the front sight. You can get them in 3 different colors and day or night sights.

I am glad this came up as Sig sights are different than others and I have an issue with my 365 shooting low. So I would need a #8 to increase/raise the front sight picture instead of a #6, depending if Sig uses a 6 front and 8 rear. Correct?

Correct. Increasing the sight number will raise the POI if the same sight picture is used. ► 6.4/93.6

I sent my 365 slide to Sig for a sight swap from a #6 to a #8 in the front. 6 day turn around, $69. It did what I wanted, bullet holes right on top of the front sight at 7 yards. OZ

I'm a first time Sig owner, purchased a P365 NRA addition this past weekend, and new member to this forum. Me and my son shot it for the first time Saturday afternoon and we were both shooting low. I did a search for "P365 Shooting Low" and this conversation was one that came up. I have never heard of combat sighting and I've been shooting for a long time, all my other handguns shoot to POI using the pumpkin on a post site picture. I tried the combat sight picture last night and put 5 rounds in a quarter size hole, bulls eye, at 10 paces. I'm 51 and been using the other site picture for a very long time, so this type of site picture does not feel right to me. However, I love this gun so I guess I'll just have to keep putting rounds downrange till I get used to it. Happy shooting!

I'm even older and have similar experience with 6 o'clock hold. Most of my adjustable sight pistols are set up that way. Today the emphasis seem to be on combat shooting rather than bullseye, so my gun club is set up with steel plates, silhouettes, and similar targets. So often no bullseye to put on top of the post. I grew up with the six o'clock hold as well. I like seeing my target, not covering it up with the front sight post. You could always try different loads to find one that shoots higher.

OP, before you make your purchase, clarify which of the below you want: Because what a lot of people call 6 o’clock is actually “traditional” or “50/50”. You said 6:00 but then later say you want the bullet to appear at the top of the front sight. Going from “combat” to “traditional” (image 3 to 2) is a minor adjustment. From “combat” to “6:00” (image 3 to 1) is fairly significant. EDIT: never mind, just saw this is a zombie thread. ------------------------------------------------ Charter member of the vast, right-wing conspiracy

Only a thought here, but when you guys are shooting low, are you point shooting or actually aiming? I ask this because I am a glock 19 guy cause that is what I am issued for work. I just recently bought 4, yes 4 365 models because I shot a friends gun and loved it for the size. What I am getting at is the standard 365 frame points down for me when I bring it to my eyes cause of the bigger arch I am used to in my 19 so I have to really make sure that I am aiming the 365 cause I am sooo used to the 19. The XL framed guns seem to point better for me so I cant explain it but my targets back this up. If you have allot of time behind a certain gun, your point shooting becomes accustom to that grip so switching to another grip, especially a smaller grip like the 365 has could make you shoot low. Just a thought on my end. --------------------------------------------------- In God we trust, all others are checked through NCIC.
