I also use the white fine point normally sold for painting designs on smooth rocks. Since I store my mags in elastic mag holders I also use orange small labels on the bases and write something like 226 or 229 on them.

| I just use blue painter's tape. I cut it in a square and mark it to correspond with the pistol, P226,P229, P320...... |
