I assume that it can't be fired (at least more than once), with the stock folded, correct?

Please let us know how the recoil and sound are at that barrel length. I’m thinking about building one with a barrel <10.5”.

Correct. You need to firmly lock the stock in place. I've seen references to people being able to "fire it once", but sure wouldn't recommend it.

In a word, "nice". Very pleasing.
