Hello all, question for the experts here. With the close of SIG SAUER GERMANY it seems every German X-series or German P210 is advertised as Mastershop. Is everything in recent years considered Mastershop if made in Germany??? Or just people trying to capitalize on the name Thanks P226 X-FIVE AR .40 P229 SAS GEN II .40 And a few more

No. P210: The P210 Legend was never considered "Mastershop". The Super Target (both 5- and 6-inches) are, as are the Skeleton, the Midnight (5 & 6), and the Final Edition. LDC: Most LDCs are not. Only ones with the "M" on top of the slide are. Xguns: Most are, if they're factory made guns. There have been tons of aftermarket FrankenXguns that were made (from sold off parts inventory after SIG DE closed) by German dealers and sold to US dealers, then they were passed off as factory made guns on GB. They are very easy to spot. Caveat emptor. Q

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the parts guns lately, what a shame. I am seeing guns like LDC2 SKELETON and P226 AL SO calling them Mastershop in the sales pitch and was uncertain. Thank you P226 X-FIVE AR .40 P229 SAS GEN II .40 And a few more

P226 AL SO as Mastershop gun? What are they smoking? It's just a regular alloy frame railed P226.This message has been edited. Last edited by: 12131, Q
