stickman428I got a tiny pocket pistol! Beretta mod 950 BS.
I’ve always wanted one of these. My local gun shop had one in their used section that was calling my name today. Buying a gun on the 4th of July is how you properly celebrate America’s 250th birthday. It’s from an Italian company yes but this one was made in the USA.

mike_jackmini like that little gun
i got a spare magazine release button and filed it down so it was flush with the grip. still easy enough to use but it prevented my pinky from dropping the mag at random times
mine was perfectly reliable, more accurate than i expected, and easy to carry

GenorogersI have a 950 BS, never fired, so as new in the box. I have only fondled it a bit.

ridewvIs it .22LR or .25?
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

GenorogersIt's a 25. I can't post pics here or I would. I can send one to your email if you want.

straightshooter1I have one just like that. Mine's a 25 acp and it replaced the 22 short I carried for many, many years as a second gun.
The 25 I works perfectly and has always done so. I have some HP ammo for it, but always have preferred FMJs for penetration.
Congrats on your new acquisition.

FredwardThe 25 was called the "Jetfire." The 22 short was called the "Minx." Sweet little guns. I gave my Minx to a friend who collected old Berettas.

I agree with you about the names but my box doesn't mention "Jetfire". The names probably came after mine was built I'm guessing.

GOTSIGI’ve had one like yours for a couple decades now and it’s been consistently reliable and fun (though expensive) to shoot. I’ve had about a half dozen other .25 ACP pistols and this one is by far the best I’ve had. Congratulations on your purchase!

casI had an older Italian made one many years ago and it was ridiculously accurate. I thinned the front sight a bit for a better sight picture, and if you sand bagged it and did everything right, it would but the whole magazine into one blurry hole at 7 yards. Stupid accurate for what it was.

FenderBenderJetfire! That right there is the best mouse gun ever made in my opinion.
I assume Para will be along soon enough, he is also a fan.

JupiterIf the 950 BS is anything like the Model 21, don't drop it on a hard surface. It WILL go off. Just ask my ex-wife.

kaschiI also have a Model 950--box and all-- made in the mid 80s. Cute as a button and never jams. Still looks new. Love it!

stray dogWe also have a 950 Jetfire inherited from my FIL. It replaced a 25ACP Lorcin he had that came apart in his hand. Not sure why the penchant for .25s.
