Is the P220 Sig Armorer Superstrut a worthwhile addition to improve trigger pull? The website says that 2011 and later will have the short spring seat, but my June 2014 Super Match has the long seat. Are the aftermarket aluminum seats an improvement on the stock Sig part? Thanks!

Non of the aluminum seats/bases that i have owned did anything for or against the trigger pull.

The strut is where some improvements can be made.

I would need a new spring seat and was just wondering if the aluminum seats are any better than the stock Sig part. Even though my P220 was made in 2014, it has the long seat.

When you buy the Super Strut & spring from The Sig Armorer, might as well shell out the $5 for their accompanying seat. Get all in one package, instead of having to order the factory seat elsewhere, costing more money. Btw, you must have made a mistake the OP, saying your gun has the short seat. Wink

The strut fixes all the issues with the SAO safeties, and really smooths out DA on the DA/SA pistols. Highly recommended! I have them in all my Classic Sigs.

What are some of the issues with the safeties on SAO Sigs? I'm thinking of buying one and have never heard of any problems.
