I've had a P229 standard with 2 barrels (.357 SIG/.40 S&W) for awhile now but I wanted another P229 model to be able to switch up barrels with so now finally I can switch up my standard to .40 S&W and use my SAS as .357 SIG or vice-versa. It came with 2x10 round magazines which are unique, their dual stack but the end has a buffer or whatever to make it flush with the bottom of the pistol. I learned the standard magazines didn't fit because they were too tall so it wouldn't let the slide rack one into the chamber.

either way; it's a great day to have finally found a my single P229 a friend, and now it seems I have 2 .40 S&W barrels which is no complaint at all.
