mozambiqueSig P series aftermarket triggers
Are any of you running aftermarket adjustable triggers? Straight, semi curved? I am considering swapping over to semi curved adjustable triggers and want to lighten and smooth the trigger pull in several P series guns without compromising reliability. I'd like to hear experiences about any parts you'd recommend or stay away from and why.

92fstechThe Grayguns hammer strut system can produce massive improvements over the factory trigger pull, but it varies from gun to gun. I've had some factory struts that had horrible rough spots on the engagement surfaces, and others that were pretty good. The Grayguns part comes with a nicely machined seat, two different springs (19 and 17lb, IIRC), and a really nicely machined and polished strut. It's good stuff.

mozambiqueI was looking at Armory Craft and Gray Guns parts this afternoon. Armory Craft is a no go in your opinion then?

wolfe 21I think the owner at armory craft is/was a member here. Might be worth the wait to see what he has to say.

dry-flyArmory Craft makes great products as well. I’ve used several of their triggers as well as other parts.

armoredYears ago I sent my Sig P220ST off to Ernest Langdon to have the trigger done after another "gunsmith" botched the job.
It came back from Ernie with a fantastic trigger along with his bump stop short trigger installed.

powermadI didn't care for the shape of the AC triggers, tried two.
The Gray Guns ELS trigger kit wound up in three of mine with three versions.
Original EDC/SOT, first ELS straight and then the hybrid.
GGI also has an intermediate curved trigger now.
I use the Sig Armorer or GGI strut and an Armory Craft hammer in everything.
20# spring with the SA strut and the 19# with the GGI strut.
Everything has a Short Reset Trigger also.
The ones with the ELS have a DA pull of around 6.5 pounds and a 3.5 pound SA pull.
My 220 with a Sig trigger has about an 8 pound DA and 4 pound SA.

RJ-357I added the Gray Guns adjustable curved trigger to my p229. Reduced pre-travel and eliminated over-travel, but didn't effect trigger pull. Which was fine, as it was pre and over-travel I was looking to address.
As others have noted Gray Guns sells aftermarket parts that will reduce trigger pull.
I have no experience with Armory Craft, but have not heard anything bad about them.

94hokieI’m interested in a straight trigger, but appears GGI doesn’t offer one for the 239.

powermadArmory Craft has the 8mm wide triggers for the early 220's and 239's
