Got it and have decided to go from the G 10 grips to Hogue Rubber panels.

You don't like the G10 of the Classic Carry?

I kind of like them but my right hand is voting no. Roll Eyes I do not know if I will sell them. But, I do know that I am going to try the factory grips with a Talon overlay if the Hogue rubber panels do not work. They work great on our 226s but the grip is thinner than the 229.
It is a beast of a gun though.
