But as to when Gaston passes, yes, change would seem to me to be inevitable. While the new CEO would try to honor the Glock tradition, he will ultimately be his own man.

Glock is the only company now that is making poly SF pistols

Pardon my ignorance but what the heck in a "SF pistol".

Slim frame.

Short frame. They're a bit shorter from frontstrap to backstrap. This applies to Gen 3 pistols; the Gen 4 have the same dimensions without adding backstrap inserts.

The only designated slim width offered by Glock is the G30S, which uses a standard G30 frame with the lighter and slimmer G36 slide and barrel. Frame width is the same. Glock does offer a single stack slimmer .45 in the G36, and of course the single stack .380 G43, and single stack 9mm G43. The G43 is the same size as a G26, except for width. None of those are designed SF or slim, save for the G30S.

The Gen 3 large frame glocks are offered in a SF, or short frame version.
