What do you want to know? I have one and it's a good light. It produces plenty of illumination from a compact package, and I like that the battery goes in from the front so you don't have to remove the light to replace it.
I wish I'd waited a bit for the TLR-7A to come out, as I think the switches on that one are easier to use than the ones on my -7. There's also a new variant called the TLR-7 Sub that has a slightly thinner profile and is designed for use on subcompact guns...I haven't been able to handle one of those yet, and can't really tell what it offers over the -7A.
I've been using a TLR-1 for years working night shift, and while it's an excellent light (I've even submerged it completely in water with no ill-effects), the -7A does everything I need a weapon light to do (I also carry 2 handhelds on my body, and a bigger one in the car, so the light on my gun is only for very specific purposes), and if they'd bought us the -7A instead with proportionally smaller holsters, I'd be plenty happy using one for work.

My concern is the light is 2.15” and my rail is 2”. That means the light will stick out approximately 3/16” which could hinder my search for a holster?
What gun is your light on? Does it protrude past your barrel?
My TLR-7 is on a P320 Carry. It is flush with the barrel. I've had a TLR-1 on a 320 Carry, and it extends well past the barrel...plenty of holster options to accommodate that particular setup. I don't have an x-compact although I do have a subcompact which uses the same length slide, but I haven't looked for a light-bearing holster for that one, so I can't really answer your question. If you're set on carrying it with the light, you might research holsters before you buy...any light setup is going to limit your options somewhat, but I imagine there's somebody out there making hat you're looking for.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I might buy the light and use it strictly for home defense?
That's how mine is currently employed, which is why I've never looked for a holster. I'm happy with it in that capacity.
I don't really see the need to carry a weapon-light in most carry scenarios, and I pretty much always have a micro streamlight clipped in my pocket if I do need illumination. Honestly, the only reason I've shopped for a light-bearing holster lately for my TLR-1 gun is because I'm too lazy to remove and re-install it all the time .
