is there a sight that will tell you what the original model of a P320 was based on serial number or does it require a call to Sig?

Not sure your question? You mean the configuration that it originally shipped as? For a fully modular gun what exactly would that mean? and what use would it be? But if that's the question Sig is the answer. But why would you waste your and their time?
