I have a Sig p226 w/ slide marked "Made in Germany" and w/ serial numbers matching for the slide and frame. No SN on the barrel.
SN is U574748.
Year of Manufacture?
And is this a real "Made in Germany" P226?

I also have a Sig P220 w/ slide marked "Made in Germany" and w/ serial number on the frame only.
SN is G280798.

Check yours with the serial number thread >> here <<. It's stickied at the top of this subforum.

Based on your numbers, they were made in 1997.

If they have the German proof marks, then they were made, assembled and proofed in Germany.

If they don't, then they were made in Germany, but final assemblies were made at SIG NH, USA.
